From collaborations with Billie Eilish to OG-inspired GRs, the Nike Air Force 1 High has seen a wide range of releases since the start of 2022, the year of the Bruce Kilgore-designed sneaker’s 40th Anniversary. And as the festivities begin to wind down to a close, the brand is introducing more and more understated colorways, such as this newly-revealed, grey-dominant pair. Despite being dressed almost entirely in neutrals, these Air Force 1s avoid seeming boring. This is thanks most in part to the construction itself, which exudes a premium feel across both its smooth leathers as well as its seldom hits of suede. The side Swoosh, too, is notable in its silver metallic finish, though it still pales in comparison to the check underfoot, whose “Volt” shade creates a glow within the partially translucent sole unit.
If you’re a sneaker person you’ll appreciate the build quality on these. Clean lines, solid construction, comfortable insole. Definitely picking up another pair soon.
Rare to find a shoe that’s both this comfortable and this stylish. These check both boxes easily. Will definitely be ordering again.
Came in fast and looks just like the photos. Really happy with it — quality feels solid overall. Laces could be a bit thicker but nothing major. Would buy again.
